School Open House was today. This is our seventh year with children at this school. We love it there and would not send our kids anywhere else. It feels like home. Big smiles and hugs all around.
The kids are ready. The teachers are ready. I am ready too.
Such an odd time of the year it is. The summer always goes quickly. We feel like we have been doing things and accomplishing lots.
Open House makes me feel like I have been idling. The gas pedal has been pressed and I am instantly running at 80 mph and trying to keep up.
